Welcome to the Workspaces documentation!

Workspaces is the processing half of the archive (the other half being storage). Workspaces is used for various things:
- Providing science-ready data products (SRDP)
- Performing automatic calibration and imaging on new data
- Quality assurance for results of automatic processing
What is needed to accomplish the above list of things? Several things:
- A way to execute long-running jobs against various clusters and keep track of their state
- A way to examine the results of these jobs, and possibly tweak and re-execute them
- A way to approve of the results and keep track of quality assurance status
- A way to react to new observations by scheduling jobs
